A token check is only as useful as its evidence.
Successful selling in a simulation answers one question. It does not establish every permission in a contract, the distribution of holders, or the quality of its market. Here is how to read an AgentProof result before your next decision.

1. Separate market data from security checks
The free preview identifies a Base token and reports available trading-pair market data, including liquidity and volume. It does not issue a security verdict. The free coverage check tells you which categories currently have enough data for our checks. Availability can change between that check and a paid report.

2. Read INCOMPLETE as missing evidence
INCOMPLETE is neither a clean result nor a fraud finding. It means required checks could not all be completed. A null score is unknown, not zero. Known material risks can still produce WARN or BLOCK even when other evidence is missing. ALLOW describes the completed automated checks; it is not a guarantee.
Upgradeable proxy contracts are one source of complexity. GoPlus documents that some fields may be absent for proxies or contracts without verified source. Paying for an API plan alone does not establish that those missing fields will become available. See the provider's field definitions.
3. Try coverage before paying
This request checks data availability for USDC on Base. It does not connect a wallet or purchase a report:

Do not substitute zero for null, infer safety from a successful HTTP response, or ask it to spend automatically.

4. Know what the paid request delivers
A delivered token report costs 0.25 USDC even if its verdict is INCOMPLETE. Review free coverage and the displayed fee first. Stored reports can be restored for 30 days using the private recovery details; restoration returns the original result and timestamp, not a new analysis. A pending payment is a reason to check recovery, not authorize another payment.
Other AgentProof services are separate: unsigned Base transaction preflight is 0.05 USDC; Base USDC payment verification is 0.01 USDC. They answer different questions and do not make a token report complete.
